comparison between first and last speech

In my first speech, I was nervous and not as prepared as i could have been. I has a lot of fillers like uhm, and ugh. My eye contact was no where near where it is now. Verbally i did not change very much. I become louder and more comfortable in my last speech. Ihad less fillers was more fluent with my words. My content details increased greatly from the first speech to the last one. Eye contact is a lot better and hand gestures have incresed.

How to speech

My how to speech went according to what I thought it would turn out to be. I think I had good content and kept the classes attention. The topic was something they seemed interested and out of the ordinary. My presentation was vocally sound. I believe that I was clear and to the point without losing the interest of the class. Some of my key low point would be eye contact. I do not believe that I looked at the entire class. My excitement was okay, but could have been a little more energitic.

informal speech

In my informal speech I feel like I got the attention of my peers with my opening statement. With that i think they became more interested in the topic and I kept their attention most of the time. Thing i think that I did well was eye contact, spoke clear, and stayed on topic. Of course i said uhhhhhh and and uhm about 20 times and i havent found a way around not saying that yet. according to brandon i said it 19 times. I thought that my information was good and stated what needed to be known and more. My conclusion was the classic "well thats it". i feel like i can come up with a better ending statement.

Brown bag speech

In my brown bag speech, overall I think I did well. I kept solid eye contact and good posture throughout the entire speech. Some of the thing I could have done better are using more hand motion. I said "uhm" a few times and that could be removed. Otherwise I presented my items clearly and the explaination behind them was clear and present. I feel that i can improve in some areas but overall did a good job.

Hey, my name is Aaron Adams. I am a senior at Anderson High School. I am attending the University of Kentucky next fall. I am excited to go there and plan to major in production engineering with a minor in either buisness or computer science. In my free time I like to hang with freinds, ride my dirtbikes, and camp in the summer. I have been riding dirtbikes since I was 5 years old. I have been in and out of racing in the 450cc class B league for the past 4 years. I have been working in the landscaping business for the past 3 years with Bard Landscaping. I love what I do because it keeps me in shape and it has great pay! I am starting to lifeguard at the YMCA off of Clough on Febuary 1st for a winter job.
